General Meeting 2/15
There is a general meeting next week Wednesday, February, 15th @6:30pm in BAC 116. Wear your cozy clothes if you want because PBL will be kicking back and enjoying a special feature film on the BAC big screen! Don't worry we will have you out by 7:30pm still :)
Piestewa Peak Hike 2/25
On Saturday, February 25th @ 8am-11am come hike with PBL! We will be hiking Piestewa Peak, which is located @ 2701 E Squaw Peak Dr Phoenix. We will be hiking the Summit Trail. It is about 1.2 miles to the top. The trail itself is rocky, and has a stair effect. Bring plenty of water, a good pair of shoes and a great attitude :) If you need a ride, we will be arranging a carpool. If you are interested in attendeding contact Alban. "You say the Stairmaster is too boring? Have you finally decided to get outside and get some exercise? Thousands of people know where you can go. Some people go there every morning before work. It's right in the middle of Phoenix. Surrounded by freeways, and neighborhoods and resorts you will find one of the most popular destinations for a hike in Phoenix: the Piestewa Peak Recreation Area. This area was recently renamed, and used to be known as Squaw Peak. The new name was given memory of Lori Piestewa, a Tuba City soldier who gave her life in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. The name is pronounced: py-ess-tuh-wah."
