 Mission

Our mission is to become the premier professional organization at ASU by offering our members opportunities to grow as individuals, leaders, and professionals.

 Membership

Phi Beta Lambda welcomes anyone interested in the ideals of our organization regardless of major. Annual dues are $45 and are required to participate in any conferences. Please visit asupbl.org/join to join. After you fill out this form, you need to pay your dues in order to complete registration. If you have any questions about membership, please send an email to Katie.Buck@asu.edu and she will let you know everything you need to know.

 Meetings

We have bi-weekly meetings on Wednesdays. For a full schedule, please check our calendar. Each meeting typically lasts about an hour and is focused on developing members into leaders within the business world whether it be through a guest speaker from the real world experiences or a team oriented activity designed to teach specific skill sets. Feel free to bring a friend to one of the meetings!

 Competition

Phi Beta Lambda offers over 50 different competitive events ranging from the basics of business like Accounting, Economics, Finance, and Marketing, to career related events like Job Interview, Sales Presentation, Public and Impromptu Speaking, and Business Decision Making. Check out the National Competitive Event Guide 2010 for a complete listing of events. We compete three times a year at the state level and travel each summer for the national level of competition. For a schedule of competitions, please check our calendar.

 Social Events and Community Service

We plan social events for the off-weeks of meetings. They range from attending sporting events to team building activities. We also will sponsor intramural teams in any sport that we have enough interest. Beyond social events, we also participate in community service projects that range from helping out our national sponsor, March of Dimes, to the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk at Tempe Town Lake. For a list of currently scheduled events, please check our calendar.
